New Community & Rec. Center Project

The new community and recreation center is now open, with some minor construction installation items to finish. There will be an Open House on January 11, 2025 for a facility tour and to sign up for membership. If you missed the open house, you can still sign up for a membership. Download a PDF form here:

This project has been made possible by the ABC Club, City of Alvord, Lyon Co. Riverboat Foundation, numerous grants, and donations from our generous supporters! Thank you so much to everyone who has made this project a reality!

The facility has a large gym equipped for basketball, volleyball, and pickleball; a fitness center in the loft; and a full kitchen on the main floor. There is a room in the basement for family gatherings with a door leading to the playground.
